2 Pirates and 1 Parrot

posted on: Tuesday, November 2, 2010

October 31 had to look out for the one and only, Jack Sparrow (sam) with his amazing hair, his parrot (forest man) with his super birdy claws and his wife (your's truly) who is so sexy that Jack stopped looting ships just to kiss her day and night. (Yeah, they're waiting to put her in the last movie.) ;)

I made our amazing costumes from 99% thrifted items. It was fun searching through thrift stores for items I could transform. I spent the day finishing all of our duds and then it was off to a costume party at Beka and Brandon's house. We had so much fun dressing up. Samuel was the best Jack Sparrow ever. He was in FULL character all night long. Here are some pics for you to enjoy.

(These little birdy booties were my fav thing I made.)

An xxxl men's shirt left unbuttoned with the collar up makes a perfect pirate shirt.

Beka posted a whole blog on the night! Check it out HERE at Tirzah Photography.
