Frozen Broccoli Boy

I recently discovered one of Káel's favorite snacks...raw broccoli! He loves it, especially when I freeze it. He will chew and gnaw on it for the longest time, making it a yummy, teething, snack full of vitamins! Frozen broccoli was my favorite snack (and as weird as it sounds, still is) as a little girl.

I can't believe he's 10 months old! It's freaking me out how fast time is flying. I'll post more on the wonders of the 9 and 10 month landmark later. :)

I've missed blogging the last couple of weeks and I know my posts have been scarce. Sorry about that. We have 3 weeks to find a house, pack and move. My brain space is filled up with house hunting and my creative juices have been going into building up stock for my new etsy store (that will hopefully open later this month or early August). Today, Sam and I are going to look at a house in one of my favorite neighborhoods. We'll see how that goes...I'm so hoping that this is the one. If it is, I'll be posting and sharing the excitement with you.

Have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Such a great idea for teething! Why didn't I think of that?? We used frozen teething bonbons but a nutritious food would make so much more sense...

  2. This is great! I'm with Kristin. What a fantastic and healthy idea! Will have to give it a try.

No wonder you have been quiet for a while. House hunting can be so time consuming and draining. Praying for a smooth transition for you and your beautiful family. Look forward to hearing more about your next chapter in the journey. (and your etsy store.) =)

  4. Best of luck to you dear! House hunting is the WORST, and those time constraints certainly don't help any. Fingers are crossed!

  8. Broccoli is not good for babies to eat! They cannot digest it properly and makes for very upset stomachs.

  9. actually broccoli is recommended between the ages of 8-10 months if your baby hasn't had digestive issues (which kael never has). it's worked really amazing for us and we haven't had any problems, maybe your baby tummy is more sensitive? kael is over 10 months so i think we're fine. but thank you so much!
