  1. I just found you're blog and I it made me so very happy! I had my first little baby 7 months ago Sunday..Crazy where the time goes! Well my daughter, husband, and I are currently living in Germany so we have been spending a lot of time traveling together anywhere and everywhere. There have already been many amazing adventures. Now after understanding what being a new momma means, I am realizing that, more than anything, I want to take time to be with my loved ones in the moment. It has been wonderful to really try and do this for the last couple weeks. I was especially in need of some inspiration today and I found it in your beautiful blog. I just wanted to let you know because I think it's a good thing to let someone know they made you feel happy or inspired. So thank you! I hope you are having a wonderful day! You are a beautiful momma with some amazing words to share!

  2. My sister shared your blog with me and I am really digging it! But I do have one question from looking at your belly pictures (which are awesome, by the way). How on earth do you go from having long curly hair, to having dreads, and then back to curly hair again? I have had dreads in the past, but didn't really know what I was doing so I freaked out and combed them out before they had proper time to set. My hair ended up looking ratty and not long and flowing like yours does Ha! What is your secret?

  4. Hi Jess,
I've enjoyed and followed your blog for a long time now. Forgive me if this question has been addressed already in one of your posts but I too have curly hair and so does my daughter and I was wondering what you use in yours. I try to stick with the most natural products and lately my hair has been feeling blah. I like how your curls are so defined yet don't appear weighed down or crunchy looking. Also, and good all natural makeup favorites? Thanks! :)

    1. hey there! sometimes i use a little bit of coconut oil when i get out of the shower and scrunch it on the ends or i'll use a simple hair spray while it's wet and then knot it up over night. sometimes i'll touch up my curls with a curl wand ever so lightly as well. i'll have to do a little post on my basic routine, which is super minimal! xox

  6. Jess, I'd just like to say thank you for being such an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others. Seeing how truly happy and creative you are on a daily basis reminds me that I can be/do the same. This world can be a dark cruel place. You are a ray of sunshine. Keep on shining!

  7. Hi There!!

I am in love with the font used on your inner arm tattoo. Did you write it yourself, and if so do you happen to sell custom requests??

    Thanks!
